Thomas Keely has been with the firm since 2006. He has expertise in all phases of patent prosecution and designing portfolio strategies. Mr. Keely works with clients involved in a wide range of technologies, including computer hardware and software, internet-enabled technologies, cloud computing architecture, data-enabled therapeutics, telecommunication systems, artificial intelligence, and biomedical devices. His practice includes conducting due diligence investigations, validity studies, freedom-to-operate/right-to-use studies and preparing related opinions.

Mr. Keely earned his B.S. degree in computer and systems engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his J.D. at Brooklyn Law School.

In addition to having has a unique ability to relate to clients in a straightforward manner, Mr. Keely is also a team player who enjoys mentoring junior associates.  Mr. Keely routinely conducts due diligence and state-of-the-art investigations and other analyses and prepares invalidity and non-infringement opinions.
